The News Preview block is identical to the <a href="https://help.designedtorun.com/en/articles/16809617-news-list-block">News List block</a>, with the exception of show a maximum of 3 news posts. It's therefore useful for showing your most recent news items on the home page. 

We will soon be merging this block into the News List block, which will then include the option to set a limit on the number of articles to display.
