General block options

The Intro is a standard sub-component we use across many blocks. It includes a short centered "eyebrow", headline, and description, that can create a sharp looking intro for your block. It's sometimes on, and sometimes off, on any given block by default.

In addition to turning pieces of this on and off, we generally also support resizing of the Intro elements via sliders on the sidebar.

When using Run blocks, make sure to turn content off in the sidebar, versus simply deleting the text inside it. The latter will leave unintended blank spaces on your pag

The background color can be changed on the sidebar of any block and will recolor everything on top of it to automatically such that text will remain readable no matter which color you choose for the background. Individual pieces of text can be recolored by selecting them and choosing from the provided colors on the toolbar. However, if the background colors change, custom selected colors will likely shift as well.

Under the Advanced tab at the bottom of the sidebar, there is the option to reduce top and bottom margin size on blocks. This is most useful when consecutive blocks are actually intended to be part of the same section, such that overly large margins create an undesirable separation. This can be combined with making two consecutive blocks the same background color, which will also reduce the space between them. If consecutive blocks have unrelated / separate content, we recommend leaving the existing large margin setting as is, as it creates a more airy, aesthetically pleasing, look and feel.

You can turn the pinstripes design detail on and off on each block under Advanced, or you just turn them off site-wide at Design Settings.

We placed character limits on Run sites to ensure that users don't have excessively large amounts of text where it doesn't fit well. However, this can be turned off per block, under the Advanced tab. The Site Settings page, under Advanced, also allows turning off character limits site-wide.
