Run has an advanced form builder feature which allows creating forms and then seamlessly sending the data to many external services (aka "integrations"). Meanwhile, Run saves a copy of every form submitted on your site, which is available for download as a CSV file.
Creating and editing forms
In order to get started with the form builder, you first need a component with a form. The header component on your home page, the landing popup, and volunteer and contact pages all have forms already by default, but you can create as many new forms as you like by adding a Long Form or Short Form component. Simply click the Page Content tab in the top navigation menu and then add a new component in the sidebar. On any header block, you can add a form under the Forms & buttons section of the sidebar.
In order to edit your forms, click on the block with the form, and then click Launch Form Builder from the sidebar.
Managing where your form data goes
By default your form submissions get saved on the Run back-end (click the Form Submissions tab at the top of the CMS) but you may want to send your form data to various integrations as well.
Managing form submissions
Click the Form Submissions tab in the top bar of the CMS to view all your form submissions.
Form submissions are exportable, either by individual form or for your whole site. To export forms in CSV format, on the top right of the Form Submissions page, select either All Forms or the individual form you want to export and click Export Submissions.
Conditional form flow
Forms can be set up to show or hide certain fields based on whether other checkboxes or radio buttons in the form are clicked, or whether certain options are selected in dropdowns. This can be used to create complex conditional flows, where as people make particular selections, it changes what else is on the form. The action is very simple however - under the column in the form builder that says "Visibility" change the dropdown from Always to Conditional and choose the condition under which you want the field in question to appear. This can also be useful for simple cases, like showing a Text field after someone selects "Other" on a radio button.
Redirects
In order to send someone to a new web page after they successfully submit a form, select Actions > Redirect at the bottom of the form builder, and add your URL to the input box there. This can be useful for sending someone who just signed up to volunteer to a donation page.
Triggering an automation / email after form submission
If you'd like to trigger an email upon form submission, you'll need to use one of our integrations. Here's an explainer of which integrations support that and how you can set them up.
Internationalization
Our form builder now has a feature that allows the collection of international contact information that must be actively enabled on the form builder.

Event RSVP forms
Our individual event page automatically include a form. That form is shared across all events, so any updates will apply to all events. In this form, we include Event Name and Event Type on the form builder, and that information can be passed through to a custom field on any of your integrations that support custom fields.
Note that the form always submits "people" records to your integrations, NOT event attendance information. In other words, if you connect your event form to NGP, our forms don't interface with NGP events - instead they just create a person record on the NGP side. However, you can manage this data by adding a tag to that person connected to that event, among other options, so that you can do a manual search for those who have rsvped to that event.
