Run allows the insertion of custom code of any type, such as javascript, CSS, and more. Custom code may break your website if not done correctly, so proceed with caution. Note that code inserted this way will NOT preview on the CMS for security reasons - you can only see it in action on the published site. However, code inserted into a Custom Code / Embed block will preview in the CMS (though with limitations you can read about).
Custom code can be added sitewide in the Custom Code and Scripts section of the Site Settings page, or per page on that page's Page Settings sidebar.
If you want to create an entire visible block of custom code or use an Embed, use our Custom Code / Embed block instead.

Click Page Settings when on any given page, then open the Custom Code area.
Custom CSS
Custom CSS can be used to change the look of things on your website in various ways. Colors, layout, and more can be controlled and can be targeted to different screen sizes. For example, you could hide a particular block on mobile only.
In many cases, AI tools can create simple CSS for you. The method is to prompt your AI tool with the changes you need along with a link to the page or site you're trying to edit.
CSS is inserted in the general custom code sections list above, and must be wrapped inside style tags: <style>.....custom css....</style>.
If you want to target specific blocks you, use the id assigned to the element in the html, and if you want to target all blocks of a specific type, you can use the class name that include the block type, ie "block-intro". This info can be found by using the inspector tools on your browser (right click the area of the page you're interested in and select "inspect").
Currently, CSS will not preview on your CMS, and must be published to the live site before you can see it. Additionally, the underlying code in our blocks may change from time to time, which could potentially disrupt custom CSS.
We are working on an overhaul of our block code currently, after which, we plan to roll out custom CSS sections which will be allow you to preview CSS directly within the CMS.
