How to see your site's analytics

Updated over 6 months ago

Run has a native analytics feature planned for late 2024 / early 2025. This feature will offer standard analytics, but also campaign specific analytics about which donation buttons are being clicked, which issues are attracting the most attention, and more. In the mean time, many of our users are using Google Analytics.

Setting up Google Analytics

Follow the instruction at analytics.google.com to create your account.

Once you create your account, Google will provide you with a snippet of code that needs to be installed on your Run site. Copy this code, then visit the Site Settings page of your Run website. In the Insert Code section, paste the Google Analytics code in the Header area. Make sure to Publish your site after you add that code to get it live.

It may take up to 24 hours before Google Analytics starts showing you data on their dashboard.
