Run provides an events feature that allows you create events and collect RSVPs. Each individual event page has a form inside it that can be edited and used like all other forms on the site.
Many of the structural issues around how events are managed are the same as the other types of posts and are covered in this doc.
Event form submission
Currently the Run event form is shared between all events. Any update to the event form will affect all other events forms simultaneously.
Submissions to event rsvp forms get automatically saved to your Form Submissions page, like all other form submissions.
In addition visible fields, Run's event form also adds the event date and name to the form submission automatically. This data gets added to the Form Submissions tag, to a Google Sheet integration, or to an email integration. However, this data currently will not pass through to other integrations (we plan to upgrade this).
Events display options
You can choose to display your events in list view or calendar view.
You can also choose to show or hide past events. Depending on the view and integration, we may surface some but not all past events.
