The accordion block is unique in allowing dropdown content on your Run site. By default the accordion items are closed, showing only an "eyebrow" and headline to start. When clicked they expand to show longer text content.
There are a variety of design and layout options available including colors and wrapping styles on the accordion, as well as vertical versus horizontal layout. Vertical is a simple stacked layout, horizontal involves intro content on the left, and accordion items on the right.
The accordion block is ideal for the following types of content:
Frequently asked questions (FAQ) or other explainers.
Issues (we have lot of issues components, but this is another popular choice). Note: this does not use our issues Posts feature.
Conference schedules: Day is in the headline, schedule details in the body.
