Full Width Media block

How and when to use the Full Width Media block

The Full Width Media block allows you to add an image or video that extends the full width of the page.

We currently restrict the full width media image to a set aspect ratio so that it doesn't take up too much space on your page.

The Full Width Media block always uses the same image whether you choose to use a video or not. Adding the video simply adds a play button on the image.

We have other blocks for Video, including the Video block, that may work better here depending on your needs.

This block allows a headline above it and a caption below it that can be hidden or shown on the sidebar.

We recommend this block for when you have catchy, high resolution photos. They're great at the bottom of pages, or to break up your home page in the middle. Because it's so large, it's not recommended to put really critical content below it.
