The Gallery block provides a grid of images.
Options
Lightbox — by default, the images open up in a lightbox when clicked, with arrows for users to cycle through all the images, but it can be turned off if preferred
"Allow high resolution downloads" — Run compresses images on your web page, but when this option is selected, users who click the download icon on the image will receive a browser download of the original image that you uploaded
Number of images per row, from 1 to 4 — the more per row, the smaller they are
"Masonry layout" — by default, all images get automatically cropped to a perfect square for display on the grid, but this option shows all your images uncropped, with staggered positioning
Use Cases
When you want to showcase a large number of images
As a nice design element on a page, for example, a single row of 4 images to create some design separation in the middle of a bio. When used in this context, we recommend using the short top and bottom options, accessible under the Advanced tab of the block sidebar.
