Run sites are designed to immediately put your changes live on publish, so if you don't see them, here's what to do.
Don't forget to publish
If you're not seeing your live site updating, it's often because you haven't published your most recent changes. Sometimes our system pops up a "Saved" notification on Site Settings or Custom Code but those edits will still not go live until you publish the site.
Domain not set up correctly
If your domain is partially set up, the site can sometimes still load, but may fail to publish updates. To see if your domain is set up correctly, go to Site Settings > Domain & Site Visibility. If you see an error notification below the domain name, you'll need to address this issue before publishing will work correctly.
Cloudflare often causes issues
If you use Cloudflare, we recommend you disable all of it's functionality except for DNS hosting. Any of it's other functionality is likely to cause intermittent issues on your site, including content not updating after publishing, SSL/encryption errors when people are visiting the site, and preventing your site from loading at all. Run provides native DDOS protection, so Cloudflare's services don't offer you any additional benefit that Run does not provide already.
Clear your cache
One simple reload may not always clear your cache and pull in the updates. On desktop, try closing the browser window and opening your site in a new one, or hold the Shift button while clicking the reload icon. On a phone, it can be harder to clear the cache. You may need to go to the settings for the application and actively select the option to clear the cache.
